How to set file permission using Root Explorer


Before replacing any system files just note the original file permission and take backup
The permission is looks like rwxr-xr-x
We can divide this into three part rwx, r-x, r-x
First part is for Owner
Second part is for Group
Third part is for Others

2. Make sure that you have a cwm recovery, If you are on stock and you dont have cwm then flash semaphore kernel.
3. Disable lagifix before installing this rom

How to flash a Stock ROM in Samsung Galaxy


You can download all the stock roms from
www.samfirmware.com
1. If you are on stock rom you can simply flash with stock roms
2. If you are on custom rom then make sure that lagfixes are disable
3. If you are using one file for flashing then make sure the re-partition is un-ticked
4. If you are using more than one file then after selecting pit file make sure that re-partition is ticked.

2. ClockworkMod Recovery

How to flash Darky ROM v10.3 XXJVR Beta1



Download Darky’s ROM v10.2 XXJVR
    If YES
    1.1. Are you on JVQ / JVR Beta version
If Yes
a. You can do wipe or no wipe
b. Copy v10.3 XXJVR into your SDCARD
c. Open DarkyROM Tool (better updated)
d. Select zip from SDCARD and do flash and enjoy!!!
                  If NO
You have to do wipe then Follow steps 1.1.b to 1.1.d
    If NO
     Follow the installation procedure for Darky ROM v10.2 RE
     Once you finish installation check all lag-fixes are enabled, and then follow steps 1.1.a. to 1.1.d.
